Sleep disorders: times are already anticipated in the days before

To prevent children suffer from sleep disorders related to the time change, you should prepare a few days before. How? Slightly earlier activities of the day, from waking up to dinner, suggests Oliviero Bruni ( you can ask for a consultation ), Director of neuropsychiatry Sant Andrea Hospital in Rome.
“Any sleep problems associated with changing time mainly relate to school-age children, who have days with well-defined rhythms, while not affecting the balance of infants, who have very various routines,” says Bruni. To get over them, we should keep in mind that every child has a relationship with sleep different from the others, which must be taken into account. But everyone is a suggestion: “A rule to teach your child is that of autonomy when asleep. It is important that the rest of the child is not related to the presence of the mother and the father or the baby will not sleep only if it has the pacifier: in short, that we must be able to manage themselves, because this also benefits the sleep of parents. Is also essential to try to accommodate as much as possible its rhythms of waking and sleeping, maybe trying to change little by little.”
And with the time change if the baby makes a whim to go to bed, Brown suggests a strategy: “One technique that can work is that the presence of a parent in the room, without, however, do not interact with the child. In any case, best not to let the baby cry for a long time.”
